Must-Eat Places in Uluwatu – Places where you can have the best dining experience

The food scene in Uluwatu is catching up with the other regions in Bali. There's a rise in of hotels and restaurants that serve a variety of food, and you don't want to miss out on any of that!

1

Juniartis

This isn't anything like Bali beach resorts, but a bunch of chairs and tables that come alive in the evening. It isn't done in a very orderly way as there's no menu or anything. You simply have to walk over to the cashier, pay firsthand for the food – you can choose from whatever's available as there's no fixed menu –go sit down at your table and enjoy your meal.

2

CasAsia

If you are stationed at a resort property the likes of Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort, and wish to experience a different dining experience than what the resort offers, located not very far is the CasAsia. The place is located off Bingin Beach and is known for its Italian cuisine. The restaurant is kind of large, but don't let that fool you. It's so popular, there isn't a time when it's not packed. So, make your reservations early. A tip for later: when it comes to drinks, it's all about the Capri!

3

Cashew Tree

Want a break from all that junk food you've been gulping down? Well, pop in at Cashew Tree for a healthy meal. The quantities are quite large, and the prices are reasonable enough – but the main reason for you to go there is their use of the freshest ingredients. There's a range of vegan options too. If you want to enjoy your meal while listening to some music, Thursday is your day!

4

Bukit Café

Another healthy food place – Bukit Café is easy to find, and you can ask any local in case you can't find the place. The menu is all about healthy food choices. The servings will not make you feel as though you haven't eaten anything at all, so whatever you pay for the dish, you can get your money's worth.

5

Drifter Café

A coffee lover? Make your way over to Drifter Café. It is quite wrong to call it a café as it's more of a surf shop. What's more, there's a gallery too. The café doesn't get packed with people or become too noisy, so it's a great place to just relax and read a book.

6

Sundays Beach Club

The name is so fitting as it feels like a Sunday whenever you are down at Sunday Beach Club. It's not all about eating and drinking, you can also paddle across the lagoon in a paddleboard. Chill by the sea in the day and pick a nice spot by the evening to sit and watch the setting sun.

7

Oneeighty

You are going to fall in love with the infinity pool that's there. The incredible vistas, the high cliff, the designer cocktails and the delightful cuisine will give you the best dining experience ever.

8

di Mare

They have literally brought the Mediterranean down to Bali. In addition to the charming location, you get the freshest seafood, varied meat options and pasta. Don't make a judgement based on this testimonial – just head over there and see for yourself!
