Brad Roemer Real Estate Shares the Best Bedtime Stories

1

Introduction

When it is time for the little ones to go to bed, Brad Roemer Real Estate knows that it can be a bit of a chore to actually get them to fall asleep. Many times, you may put them to bed and a few minutes later you hear the little voice saying, “Mommy” or “Daddy.” The first thing to go through your head is usually how you are going to get them to fall asleep. Well in our experience the easiest way is to tell them a bedtime story. You could make one up, but chances are it will be a lot easier to read them their favorite book. Should they not have a favorite book, we have come armed with a few suggestions.

Best Books

If you think about it, even adults like a bedtime story. This must be the reason that most people need to read something before bed. It doesn’t have to have a beginning, a middle, or an end for us. Kids like to have a story that has a happy ending. With any luck, they won’t even make it to the end, and you will be able to read them the same book time and time again. Take a look at some guaranteed favorites of the kids around our office.

  1. Sleep My Bunny – Sleep My Bunny is a series of books that will teach your young ones about having a routine. It will share with them how to get up in the morning, brush their teeth before bed, and to have a proper breakfast. It will also teach them that exercise is good and how to always be honest. If you are looking for a little teaching in your bedtime story, then this is the series for you.
  2. Astronaut Annie – This is a tale about Annie. Annie has big hopes for her future. She wants to be an astronaut and travel to the farthest reaches of space. It will teach your children that they can choose to be anything and do anything in their life. The parents in the story are very supportive of Annie’s aspirations and it will give you time to tell your children that you will support them no matter what they choose to do in life.
  3. The Knight Nights – One of the most common reasons that a child wakes up is because they are scared of something – likely the dark. This is a story that tells them that there are knights that patrol the darkness and will protect them from anything that may happen to them. It has a little bit of that medieval theme to it and will be fun for both child and adult alike.
