In Education Class we learned lots of Educational Technology tools. Here is description of the ones I like most, and which I will use for my future classroom.

Kahoot

Kahoot is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in schools and other educational institutions. Its learning games "kahoots", are multiple-choice quizzes that allow user generation and can be accessible via a web browser. Kahoot! It a wonderful tool because the students like to compete each other, and in turn support their learning. Also, it helps teachers to know what skill students know. We saw the students at Hernando Elementary School during our field trip the way they learning through Kahoot.

Flipgrid

It is wonderful tool for teachers to upload discussions and students to answer by adding video response. It creates confidence in students. Students have different needs as far as learning is concerned. Teachers can help each individual through this tool. Also, It gives students an opportunity to raise up their opinions and thinking capacity. Furthermore, it is interactive.

Classdojo

It is a great tool which I will use in my future classroom because it connects teachers, students, and parents. Through ClassDojo students can share their learning experiences with their peers. It is great learning tool because it involves creativity and critical thinking depending on how it is utilized. On the SAMR level it involves Modification and Substitution.

Nearpod

Nearpod is fantastic Tech tool because it redefines what presentation can actually be and reaches all the way on the highest level of the SAMR. By utilizing all of their features, you can take lessons to the next level revolutionize the learning in your classroom. Students can create their own lessons, provide individual and authentic learning opportunities and can then take over the classroom as teacher, building confidence and collaboration, and empowering students in their learning.

BrainPop

BrainPop

BrainPop is a group of educational websites with over 1,000 short animated movies for student in grades K-12 (ages 6-17), together with quizzes and related materials, covering the subjects of Science, Social studies, English, Maths, Engineering and technology, health, arts and music. I like the tool because Daniel and I worked on it for presentation in the class. I prepare video. I know my students will do the same.

QuiverVision

QuiverVision

QuiverVision is 3D Augmented Reality coloring app. Mostly it is used for the Kindergartners and 1-2 graders. It is a great tool because teachers can detect kids ability to use their imaginations in creating figures or modify already existed picture. Students are motivated because once they manage to color the picture of a bird or a tree, they can see them in 3D.

I like the Google expedition because it helps students explore amazing places they would have visited otherwise. It promote curiosity and interest for knowledge. It is effective in learning various subjects; for example, Biology, Geography, History etc. I will use it for my future classroom

HP Reveal

HP Reveal

HP Reveal (formerly Aurasma) allows teachers or students to create or view augmented reality (AR) experiences that blend the physical and digital using a mobile device's camera. Auras can also be created and shared using HP Reveal studio. We saw in Hernando Elementary School, student's work which were posted, and the principle revealed them to us. It is a nice tool. I will employ it in my future classroom.

TimeRef.com is the creation of Mark Needham (Copyright 1997 - 2019). He allows his work to be used for nonprofit purposes if it is credited to him. This site covers British history from 800 to 1600 A.D.  It does cover other events from European history from the same time-period, but only as it has impact on events in British history.  He uses augmented reality to allow exploration of historical castles and experience medieval culture in a first person experience similar to many popular video games. It is a cool tool for teaching History Class.

AR Anatomy 4D

This tool help students to see in their devices such as smartphones or tablets, the interaction of human organs with various body systems. I found it very interesting and will be great for teachers to use this tool in their classroom. It is interactive and involves active participation.
