Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple

One of the oldest Hindu temples in the country, Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple was constructed in 1855 by Indian labourers who had settled in the area. The temple features an intricately detailed tower, built according to traditional south Indian style. The Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, the destroyer of evil.

City Square Mall

Situated in close proximity to Little India, New World Park and several hotels in Serangoon road Singapore, such as the contemporarily-styled Park Hotel Farrer Park; city square mall is popular with both locals and tourist shoppers. There are over 200 retail outlets within the mall that are fairly affordable, plus, loads of eateries and street fare available.
