Is the growth from the Year 2017 to 2018 clearly noticeable? ……..yes………. There is a whopping 52.88 % Growth. Looking at the growth in the last few years, we can safely assume that a positive trend is on the rise and is expected to continue for some time in the future. The figures also indicate that the number of students going to Australia for education may soon cross 40,000 per year. Even If the numbers cross the 38,000 figure, this will be the highest number of Indian students immigrating for education, in the history of the Australian education market.
International education is becoming big business in Canada with more students from foreign lands than ever before choosing to study in this country.
For better or worse, many American universities rely on tuition from international students to survive.
In the last four years, total international students in the top countries (US, Australia, Canada, UK, Germany, China and New Zealand) have grown from 2.8mn to 3.8mn students - over 1 mn students added between years 2013 to 2017.
In its 2018 Fall Economic Statement, the Government of Canada announced that two of its ministries, Global Affairs Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada, would lead the development of a new international education strategy.
