Despite its somewhat notorious reputation, Pattaya has many other aspects that attract tourists. The food, the nightlife and floating markets make up the perfect recipe for a fun holiday.
As the sun sets, the nightlife in Pattaya emerges with cocktail bars and clubs brimming with people. There are restaurants and resorts such as AVANI Pattaya Resort & Spa where you can have a delicious dinner with local and international varieties and karaoke bars where you can sing until you've gone hoarse.
Though there aren't many beaches in Pattaya, the few beaches it has don't really get crowded with people. If you are looking for a spot to relax and ponder over the beauty that surrounds you or if you have held your wedding in Pattaya and want to spend a lovely evening with your spouse, head down to one of the beaches.
Pattaya has a lot of market places and shopping malls which is one of the main reasons why the city is a renowned tourist destination. There are all sorts of brands and prices for you to choose from. Whatever your budget is, you will go home with bags full to bursting.
