7 Unique Koh Samui Attractions - An Exciting Experience!

Yeah yeah... everybody knows, hit the beach, watch kickboxing, visit the fishing village – but is there anything else you can do apart from what everybody does? Well, you are about to find out!

Ever heard of indoor skydiving?

Well, it's a possibility if you are in Koh Samui. EasyFly Samui was established two years ago and is an exclusive tourist activity in Thailand. Once you are there, you will be asked to provide your height and weight as a safety measure. The activity is available to everyone including children – one little hiccup though, you have to be over 20kg.

Rock climbing

If you are a complete novice, you will be daunted in the face of rock climbing, but not to worry, Koh Samui's got you covered. Rock & Ropes provides you with the unique experience of rock climbing in a safe environment with guides to help you around.

Escape the island game

You know the game where you have to grab whatever clue you can find escape the locked room right? Except, in this case, it is a whole island you have to escape. You have to solve a lot of puzzles until you find the clue and it involves kayaking, trekking and so on. This could be pretty exhausting so you had better book a resort in Koh Samui beforehand so you can get some rest– a choice option would be AVANI+ Samui Resort.

If you want to go karting, visit EasyKart. The place was the idea of a former French racing driver – this alone is evidence enough to tell you how good the experience is. The centre was established about three years ago as a part of the tourist scene in Koh Samui. There's a track that's 800m long, and another track meant for kids.

Jet boarding

This is not your usual jet skiing experience – it's loads more fun! Head down to the beach, and you can easily find a jet board rental. It's a platform powered by a jet ski where you are supposed to stand on while in water. You can enjoy the activity for 30 minutes, and there's additional training too.

Sea walking

It's exactly what it is – you literally walk in the sea. You will be given a glass box with a tube to pump oxygen in, and you can look around through the glass. You don't need to have any sort of diving experience for this. You can just walk around over the ocean bed witnessing spectacular marine life.

The Ice Bar

This is truly a unique experience, especially because it is a tropical island. The interior of the bar consists of sculptures and furniture made of ice! Inside, the temperature is below zero. Upon entry, you will be provided with warm jackets and furry hats. You can have as many shots as you like – they all come in glasses made of ice. The bar is a bit too cold so you won't feel like hanging around for a long time. But the experience is well worth it.
