The Brisbane markets are an absolute delight. They have a variation of products ranging from fresh fruits, vegetables, sea food and even warm and delightful baked goods. Busses, trains and cabs are in abundance which makes it a lot easier to get places even in a hurry. Trying to find parking in other major cities is almost impossible and extremely frustrating. Even if you were lucky enough to find parking it will cost you so much money by the time you rush back from a 15 minute meeting. Brisbane on the other hand is absolutely organised and so much easier as you are able to park to go shopping, attend meetings and even go lunching while you rest the wheels.
Southbank in Brisbane is a gem in the heart of the city. The man made beach is nothing like you could ever imagine as it is absolutely amazing to be able to go to the beach on a sunny day in order to spend time with family or friends or even by yourself to relax and read a book while basking in the sun. Apart from the sandy beach South Bank is brewing with cafes and restaurants which make it the perfect location for a day-out, right in the heart of the city. In terms of value for money in real estate, Brisbane makes a lot more sense than other cities in Australia. Houses, apartments and land are affordable even close to the city and makes a lot more sense when it comes to building a family.
Brisbanites are known to be friendly, approachable and will always greet you with a smile eve at a busy time. They do not have the big city attitude where people are not willing to help or be friendly with neighbours. Neighbourhoods in Brisbane are closely knit, helpful and become like families overtime.
