5 Travel Tips and Tricks for UK Citizens

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all have claims to be different and distinct. Taken as a whole the United Kingdom contains more heritage, per square mile, than any other nation, tracts of stunningly beautiful countryside, a coastline to die for and some of the most vibrant, multicultural cities on the planet. It's hard to choose amongst the country's attractions. Let’s introduce you to 5 travel tips and tricks for UK citizens.

Introduction

1. Visa:

When traveling to other country from UK, a visa is generally not required for stays of up to six months. This applies to all EU citizens and citizens from non-EU member states of the EEA and OCT. Most Asian citizens will have to apply for a visa ahead of time and can stay in the country for six months maximum. If you’re unsure, it’s always best to check your visa validity beforehand. If you’re planning to stay longer than the six months, you will need to apply for a study, work or another visa.

2. Check documents:

Prior to your departure, we recommend that you check the entry and travel requirements for your destination country/countries by contacting the proper embassies or consulates. You must have all required documents with you during travel:
Identity card
Passport
Visa, etc.
You still need to present a valid form of ID. It is your responsibility to check the expiration dates of these documents and renew them if necessary (while allowing enough time to receive them). Otherwise, you must pay all fees or fines attributed to Air France by authorities.
Please note: some countries require a passport that is valid several months beyond the expected return date. In addition, a return ticket or proof that you will exit the country may also be requested. In addition, please note that certain countries require airline companies to provide some or all information they have concerning passengers.

3. Pack light:

A general advice is to pack light. Everyone has the urge to pack a lot of things. But what usually happens is that we either wear them only once or we end up not wearing most of the things at all. So the best way to go about packing is to mix and match clothes.
Try to create outfits based on the weather and the destination. Make sure that whatever you bring, you can wear it more than once and it will look different. Some flights also ask to pack light. cheap flights from London to Islamabad are easy to book from Royal travels if you are planning to travel from Pakistan.

4. Safety:

The country safety should be checked before you travel. With a relatively low violent crime rate and lower petty theft rate than a lot of the other main European cities, the same advice is given to tourists – to just be aware of your surroundings and extra vigilant in crowds where pickpockets are more prevalent.

5. Camera:

This is probably one of the most important pieces of electronics you will bring. If you do not like taking pictures with your smartphone, then a camera will be great for you. You will be visiting amazing places, so make sure to capture all of your memories on it.
