Museums

The most noted museum is Hubei Provincial Museum. Located near Dorsett Wuhan - the Museum houses an assemblage of bronze artefacts that go back a thousand years. Built in 1658 by the monk Bai Guang – the Guiyuan Temple is located at the Cuiwei Road. One of the most prominent temples in the city, the temple ranges over an area of 4.67 hectares. Madame Tussauds

Located at Chuhehan Street, Wuchang district, Madame Tussauds is one of the modern establishments found in the city. There are about 50 wax figures on display for you to admire.

Mulan Mountain

The eponym for the legendary Chinese figure – who replaced her old father in the army and brought glory to the name – Mulan Mountain is located 50 km away from the central district. The mountain is the site for seven palaces, 36 halls and a thousand of Buddha statues with a history that goes back 1,500 years.
