A waste permit portal based on blockchain will be released in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sharjah, this was proclaimed by the country’s official news agency, Emirates News Agency (WAM), on Feb. 17. This blockchain-associated waste permit portal will be mutually created by environmental, waste management and recycling company Bee’ah and the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA), the city of Sharjah’s free trade zone. As per WAM, the podium is the first in the city to practice blockchain technology to endorse procedure and store dealings.
