Sakana

If you're looking for the best sushi in town then Sakana is where you'll find it. Run by an Israeli-Indian couple and located in the village of Anjuna, Sakana offers a wide variety of food like tuna teriyaki, rice, miso soup, kingfish and many other fish dishes. If you're feeling adventurous you should try their home-made wasabi and vodka concoction that is an exclusive creation of a Russian vodka maker.

Antares

Situated in Vagator next to a popular Greek restaurant named Thalassa, Antares is a European restaurant run by Sarah Todd, a contestant who took part in Master chef Australia in 2014. The menu at the restaurant depends on when you visit with the fried calamari and lobster linguini being available most of the time. You'll want to get to Antares by 5 or make a reservation as the restaurant offers a spectacular view of the sea.

Bomra's

Although Bomra's sounds like a restaurant that serves Goan food it actually serves Burmese food. It's a restaurant that serves Khao suey; a Burmese delicacy noodle soup made using curried chicken or beef, egg noodles and coconut milk. You might want to call in advance if you want to try Khao suey as it's only served once a week. Squid ink pad thai, coconut pannacotta and tea leaf salad are some of the Burmese delicacies that Chef Bawmra Jap that you can enjoy at Bomra's.

La Plage

Located on the Morjim beach, La Plage is a French restaurant that is frequently visited by both the locals of Goa and tourists from all over the world. The food presentation at La Plage is simply stunning and the food tastes as good as it looks. Terrain that has the perfect texture, squid thinly sliced to perfection, a prawn dish that melts in your mouth, a delicious dish of chicken liver and a fillet that is cooked just right are some of the popular dishes offered at this restaurant. Operating out of a house in Nerul belonging to Patrick D'souza, the owner of the restaurant, Bhatti Village is an award-winning restaurant that does not have a menu. The food served at the restaurant depends on what they catch for the day. The restaurant doesn't have a menu as the owner believes if they tell people what's on their menu that other restaurants will start imitating them. He approaches customers after they are seated and convinces them on what dishes to order instead.
