Mahe being the capitol and the main attraction among the 107 different islands that make the Seychelles, it is no doubt that there are many different kinds of lavish and fancy restaurants in town. Some of the restaurants are located within the five star hotels such as Mahe Island Resorts itself but some are located on independent locations. During the peak season where tourists flood in to the islands, it is best to make a reservation for dinner. You avoid disappointment and having to waste time and energy in going to look for other restaurants or having to ruin the excitement set for the night. Depending on the group you are going with or if you are going with your partner you can decide the kind of restaurant you wish to go to. If you want to start off on a mellow and romantic night then there are restaurants down the coastal area with the wind and the stunning scenery as an added advantage.

If you love dancing then a club is where you should be headed to. There are many different clubs such as the Tequila Boom, Lovenut, Ozone and Katiolo that you could visit to have a good time. Most of the night clubs would require formal attire which means you would not be allowed inside if you are dressed in shorts and flip flops. You do not need to dress up in ties and blazers even though formal attire is the requirement. Some of the night clubs have roof tops and open spaces which make for great locations to spend time at night as you get to enjoy the cool breeze and the view of the islands lit up at night. Most of the night clubs function only on Wednesdays which is ladies night and ladies have the opportunity of entering for free and then the clubs open again on Friday night, Saturday Night and sometimes on Sunday night. There are some clubs that are open just during Friday night and Saturday night. You can dance your night away at the night clubs as most of them play international music.

Pubs are generally open later than night clubs in Mahe. Since Seychelles is a relatively calmer city when compared to other party destinations such as Bali or Phuket, Mahe is still picking up on night life. Pubs that are located inside hotels close a lot earlier than individual bars and pubs that are likely to go on into the late night. Some of the pubs have Karaoke which can be entertaining.

Some hotels host beach parties and themed parties are hosted by some night clubs around different international celebrations and events. During Halloween there are many different themed parties and also around Valentine's day and specially during New Year's eve. Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino has a casino which is open in the night which allows a different form of entertainment.
