OK-432, penicillin-killed Streptococcus pyogenes, is used in treating lymphangiomas and carcinomas.
Children affected by lymphagioma usually have a tumor outgrowth or swelling around the neck area usually. This tumor or swelling however is greatly reduced after treatment with OK-432 (Picibanil).
