PINARELLO

Despite the increasing demands of a frenetic market we never cut corners when it comes to pure research...
Research into new materials, new geometric solutions, new systems, to use in our production process.
For us, research and new concepts are never just "marketing pre-tests", but rather, true progress and innovation. This is why we are our own first testers. Everyday, we test tubes, frames, forks and components on the roads that surround us, testimonial sites of legendary feats, from Montello to the Dolomites.

And if they withstand our relentless tests, they are then passed onto champions and then onto you.

This is the only way we can be sure that we are offering you the very best

Kuota

Kuota

Passion, functional design, new technology an eye for beauty and a deep practical understanding of the demands on product for the sport of cycling, these are the elements that combine to create the world of Kuota Bicycles.
Kuota’s carbon fiber products are the result of an in depth creative process that starts at Kuota’s headquarters within Sintema Sport, Albiate Italy.
A product starts begins life as an idea.
The idea becomes a sketch and then evolves through the use of CAD 2 and 3 dimensional computer rendering. The development continues with the creation of prototype molds that will manufacture individual preproduction models for laboratory and independent testing. Then the “black” prototypes hit the road for some real world stress… It’s a long and sophisticated process that involves existing technology and, as we push the boundaries of performance, frequently requires new technology in both production processes and material engineering.
All of this combines to bring you tomorrows products from the hands, heart and mind of Kuota Bicycles.

Merida

Merida

As company founder of the Merida Industry Co., Ltd., also Ike Tseng (1932–2012) has created something which has changed the world to some extent via the power of inventive genius. Because when Ike Tseng established the first Merida plant in Yuanlin (Taiwan) in September 1972, also he was not driven by ambition for success or wealth but by a question of honour: While travelling through the USA a little time before, Tseng had come across a US bike shop whose entrance sign stated unmistakably that any repair of Taiwanese bikes was strictly refused there – due to the unacceptable quality of the latter. Nearly defiantly, the then 40-year-old Tseng decided to change exactly that issue and founded a bike company with the objective to improve the quality level of Far East bikes in a lasting and effective way. Today, the Merida Industry Co., Ltd. annually produces 2.4 million bikes at three locations and is therefore Taiwan’s second-largest manufacturer – of course with top-level quality standards!
