The Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in China and the Wetland itself is the largest in Asia covering around 362 square kilometres of area. The lake is nourished by Gan, Xin and Xiu rivers. The Nanchang site memorial is a Chinese revolutionary memorial. The memorial stands for the Nanchang uprising by the Chinese communist party on August 1, 1927. Originally a hotel, it was converted into a memorial as leaders of the uprising operated from the hotel. The 2nd to the 4th floors consists of exhibition and an inscription room.

Mount Lushan is one of the most famous mountains in China and was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996. It towers over the southern bank of the Yangtze River and is located in the south of Jiujiang City. The mountain itself covers an area of 300 square kilometres, with its highest summit, Dahanyang Peak rises 1,474 meters above sea level. Lushan is nothing but one of the most picturesque sites (especially during spring) in the country with weird stone formations, magnificent peaks, waterfalls, flourishing trees and flowers. The mountain also houses many historical sites. When spring arrives, the trees turn green and flowers begin to blossom. Located about 7.5km from Nanchang city centre, the Bada Shanren Mei Lake Scenic Area has a memorial hall that pays homage to Bada Shanren, one of the greatest painters in Chinese history. Some of his best pieces are kept on display at the museum on site.
The rest of the scenic area occupies an area of around 3200 acres divided into 7 zones which are intended to promote culture, relaxation and leisure. It also serves as a venue for art exhibitions and exchange.

Jingdezhen or the Jingde Town is China's "Porcelain Capital". The town has a population of around 1.58 million. The town has been producing porcelain for almost 1700 years and has a well-documented history tracing back to the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD). Most visitors come into the city to witness the ancient ceramics industry. a few additional places of interest to visit would be the Ceramic History and Culture Zone, Deyu Ecological Garden, Fuliang Ancient Government Office, Gaoling-Yaoli Scenic Area, Hongyan Scenic Area, and China Porcelain Garden.

The Pavilion of Prince Teng is a building in Nanchang. It is known to be one of the great towers of southern China. The structure was destroyed several times and rebuilt over the course of its history. The present structure is standing since 1989. The pavilion is a prominent landmark in the city totalling up to nine floors and 57.5 meters tall. The architecture is said to be originating from the Song Dynasty using wooden style.

The Longhu Mountain is the birthplace of Taoism. It's a very significant place for the Chinese Daoist movement as it is where the Shangqing Temple and the Mansion of the Taoist Master are located. Additionally, there are a few other scenic spots which include the Yingtian Mountain, Hongwu Lake, Fairy Water Cliff and Longhu Maintain. It is also part of the World Heritage Site List.

If you want to get a glimpse of China's rural countryside then, Wuyuan County is the place for you. It is known as China's most beautiful countryside. The county boasts of glorious history and is known to have given birth to the 'Huizhou' Culture. The main attraction in Wuyuan is the sea of rapeseed flowers which stretches over a plain. Besides these, the county has around 50 old villages that have remained almost unchanged over the last century.

Known as the "first fairy mountain of Jiangxi", Sanqing Mountain is located between the borders of Shangrao City and Dexing City in Jiangxi Province. The Sanqing mountain is a sacred place for the Taoists. The mountain is adorned with granite forests, gorges and amazing landscapes. The mountain area is estimated around 229 square kilometres with three main summits. The mountain areas have around 1000 species of flora and 800 types of fauna. During springtime, around 2500 kinds of plants and flowers start blooming.

The mountain is the base in which the Chinese revolution began and this is why it is referred to as the 'Cradle of Chinese Revolution' making it a hot attraction to nature lovers as well as students studying history. The mountain range covers an area of around 260 square kilometres and accounts for 32.4 per cent of Jinggangshan City. The mountain houses dozens of residences and popular revolutionary sites which are protected under the state council. Further, you can spot attractions such as hot springs, waterfalls, caves, peaks, and precious animal and plant life.
