Hop on your bike and cruise on over to another one of Larimer’s hidden gems. Matchbox features a sliding front garage door (for that inside-outside), bocce ball in the back, cheap beers on tap and plenty of cool people. There is not really a formal sign, look for the big matchbox hanging off the side of the building.

This is one of our favorite Denver dives. Across the street from Lime, Don’s Tavern is perfect after Taco Tuesdays. You can fill up on cheap tacos then retreat for some cheap PBR’s. Expect a very eclectic mix of folks, ranging from young to old, clean to dirty. And watch out for their doorman Robbie, he is fantastic at pool and has a secret stick. No joke.
