This little gem is super lightweight and convenient to use on occasion. This device claims to be as efficient as hospital pumps helping any types of mother express milk easily. However, according to my new mummy friends it takes a little time and practice to get into the rhythm to get the most milk production. It is a discrete little pump which transforms into a milk bottle so that when you are out and about there is no need to swap milk into a useable bottle. However, the only issue comes with cleaning as there are lots of small bits that have little nooks and crannies that you will need to double check to ensure the pump is clean.

The Haakaa Breast Pump

This has won many awards, made from 100% food safe silicone it is a favourite amongst new mummies. This Haakaa preast pump hands-free option that is silent and can be easily done under your top. Being such a small pump, it easily fits into a baby travel bag for any kind of trip. Due to the design of the pretty looking pump, it can easily be sterilized as there are no niggley bits making it hard to clean. Only down fall is that you need to transfer the milk to another bottle with a teat which can result in wasted milk, however you can buy a pretty flower stop to preserve and store the milk in the pump in the meantime!

Mandela Manual Breast Pump

This is a very simple pump to use and easy to assemble. When without an electric pump, this is a great option due to the strong suction from the pump. The suction actually mimics the way a child would which is quite amazing, with short and long sucks. This pump can be used wherever, however is a little less discrete than the haakaa breast pump as you will need both hands to manually pump the handle to express milk which can be tiring. Also, this is not recommended for everyday use.
