Kite festival is one of the most awaited events for the passionate kite flyers. It is that time of the year when the sky gets painted by different types of colorful kites. One can compare the kite flyers to the professional painters. Painters create their imagination on canvas with the help of colors. The same goes with the kite flyers; the only difference here is that they have sky as canvas and kites in place of colors. The sky and kite both complement each other and provides stupendous scenery to the spectators.

Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Tripura, India of some 18.53 square kilometres (7.15 sq mi), about 25 kilometres (16 mi) from the city centre, located in Bishalgarh. It is a woodland with an artificial lake and natural botanical and zoological gardens. It is famous for its clouded leopard enclosures.

Kailash Gufa is located in the dense jungle of Kangar Valley National Park. The cave seems to be out of some prehistoric era with dark and narrow entrance. This 100 meter long cave is located in a hill and came into notice in 1993.

Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary covering an area of 1.43 square kilometers was declared as a Bird Sanctuary in the year 1972, which later upgraded to National Park in the year 1989. As per the records, Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary has become full-fledged National Park by the year 1991.
Kaziranga National Park is spread over 858 sq.kms and is located in the floodplains on both sides of the Brahmaputra river. Patches of mixed deciduous forests are interspersed with vast stretches of savannah grasslands, wetlands and chars of river islands formed by the shifting course of the Brahmaputra.

The Namdapha National Park is the largest protected area in India and is the perfect Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot. Recognized as one of the richest areas in biodiversity in India, the park harbors the northernmost lowland evergreen rainforests in the world at 27°N latitude. The area is also known for extensive Dipterocarp forests among the last great remote wilderness areas of Asia. The Keibul Lamjao National Park is a national park in the Bishnupur district of the state of Manipur in India. It is 40 km2(15.4 sq mi) in area, the only floating park in the world, located in North East India, and an integral part of Loktak Lake.
