Which tour had the best & worst combinations in regard to the line-up, setlist, and stage show? If you were asked to put together the ultimate tour, what would it be like? What's realistic to expect with the 40th anniversary tour?

Should Paul be credited as the person who really saved KISS. Did he keep the band alive during the 80s and post reunion when his partner checked out?

As Gene has become a bigger celebrity has he lost touch with the Demon persona? Does he no longer act like a Demon on stage, but rather like a person in costume?

Scenario: Peter agrees to tour for UNMASKED and gets excited after the Australian visit that finds him treated like a Beatle. What happens next? Would THE ELDER have happened? Would it be Peter singing "A World Without Heroes"? Would Ace have left? If Peter and Ace had left together, would the band officially ended? Would Peter have been better off waiting it out like Ace did anyway? (Ace certainly did do better financially from waiting.)

As a NY born and raised band did the move to CA soften the band? Did they loose their street edge.

Should tribute bands just copy or try and do something original and interesting. Do they take themselves to seriously?

KISS would never have been the band they turned into without the help of people like Sean Delaney, Bill Aucoin, Neil Bogart, Bob Ezrin, etc. Who contributed the most and what do you think KISS would be like without their involvement?

Since Eric& Tommy have been in the band, I've noticed that when Ace & Peter are brought up in interviews, Gene & Paul seem to treat Ace and Peter as if they were not important to the band's history. Gene in particular, surely tries to almost act as if Ace and Peter had no input in the band. It almost seems like Gene and Paul are trying to say that Tommy and Eric are more important to the band than Ace and Peter, and the makeup images are more important than the members. The KISSTory I was "taught" so to speak is quite different and it came from , Gene and Paul. So what gives here?

The Teetotaling Odd Couple vs the Chemical Crusaders has been a battle that has raged from the very beginnings of Kiss right up to present day. The Gene and Paul camp claim Ace and Pete got what they deserved, while the Ace and Peter faction have elevated heroes to almost "sainthood" status in their battle against the "evil empire". So how valid are the claims the four have thrown at each other over the years?

Changes over the years, for better or for worse

Eric Singer noted in a recent interview that Kiss had toned down the songs in concert. This is due to Paul's voice not being able to hit the notes, as he used to. Eric stated that this makes the music sound heavier. Led Zeppelin did the same for their reunion show. I hate when bands do this!!! It makes the songs sound slower and darker. Just because the lead singer gets older, doesn't mean they have to do that. (note AC/DC's recent Live at River Plate). Is this really necessary to do???

I have heard a lot of the material that came from Eric Carr that never made it on KISS albums. What songs from The Elder - Hot In The Shade could of been dropped from some of the songs Eric Carr wrote and recorded while in the band? Eyes Of Love would of been great for Hot In The Shade. We all know Somebody's Waiting was passed because of Forever was going to be the ballad. How about dropping Boomerang for Somebody's Waiting. They didn't have to release it was a single.
