Cameron Highlands – Pahang

Nestled in the North West tip of Pahang, Cameron Highlands is an opportunity to get lost in a not so secret garden of moss-covered trees, vibrant orchids and wildlife. There is a wooden boardwalk of about 150 meters near the rather low hill called 'Gunung Brinchang' and at the end of the footpath, you can find a hiking trail that leads to the area's highest peak, Gunung Irau.

2

Sepang international circuit

Amongst the things to do in Sepang, a visit to the Sepang international circuit stands out. The circuit is situated about half an hour's drive from resorts such as the AVANI Sepang Goldcoast Resort. If you are a formula 1 fan, you could make the trip in a day. Visit the Grandstand, the control room and corporate suites, the automobile museum as well as the Perdana Suite which is reserved for royalty. If you are visiting on a day the track is not in use, you can take a stroll on the starting grid and capture the moment on camera.

3

Penang street food

Penang is one of the best places to sample Malaysia's street food. On Fridays, the locals put out their best dishes in celebration of the week's holiday. Georgetown, in particular, is a food haven. Try the Koay Teow Soup with pork, eel or fish slices, comforting rice noodles and the broth that is so substantial in flavour.

Once you take a tour of the caves, visit the foot of the hill to witness the display at the museum and the art gallery.
