The UAE has risen to the top of the most desired tourist destinations and no wonder –with the ultra-modern projects and facilities; it only means it will continue to dominate everyone's bucket list.
The tallest building structure in the world – apart from being the tallest, it has become the jewel of Dubai that attracts thousands to the UAE. The height of the building is 829.8 metres – a dizzying height that makes you wonder if it really touches the sky. It has 163 floors with elevators that whiz you up to any level you want to go. If you have plans to visit Burj Khalifa, there are three must-visit places: the observation deck on the 124th, the Sky Lounge on the 148th, the restaurant At.Mosphere on the 122nd. All these places offer you an excellent time with photographic mementoes.
Needless to say that all the visitors of the UAE are wooed by many spellbinding shopping malls found all over the nation. Doubtlessly, the uppermost of all is the Dubai Mall. With about 1000 shops that sell designer brands, branded watches, perfumes, jewellery and 150 upscale restaurants, Dubai Mall entices its visitors into spending most of their holiday wandering around the mall. Also, there's a built-in theme park, a water fountain and a skating ring to swell the allure of it.
Two artificial islands: Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali – that are built in the shape of a palm tree with the crescent at the top. Palm islands are meant for a lavish lifestyle. You can see the villas of wealthy Emiratis and luxurious hotels and resorts all around. Though this is man-made, there is enough green on the islands. From a helicopter or a seaplane, you can see the layout of the islands – you will find the view to be astounding.
Deserts are the exotic attraction you will find nowhere else but in the middle east. If you are planning a trip to the UAE, you must include the Abu Dhabi desert in your itinerary. You mustn't miss out on the many delightful activities it offers. On the outskirts of the desert, you can find many 5 star hotels in Abu Dhabi. The list of things you can do while there is endless – there are desert safaris that come in three categories: morning safaris, evening safaris, night safaris. Also, there are BBQ dinners, belly dancing, sand skiing, camel riding, falcon shows and henna painting sessions. If you choose to stay at a hotel like Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara or any other hotel you can find around the desert – they will make the arrangements for you to participate in those many desert delights.
Said to be the highest chain of mountains in the Arabian Peninsula, Hajar Mountains are a treat to those who love adventurous activities like trekking and highking. Also, compared to other parts of the UAE, this is where you will find the most amount of flora and fauna – the mountains are an excellent opportunity – for those who love nature – to do some bird watching.
You cannot go wrong with the umpteen theme parks you can find in the UAE. These are the places you can enjoy some fun moments with your family and kids. The UAE's many theme parks include Ski Dubai, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Global Village, Bollywood Park and Aquaventure Waterpark.
