Blue Valley School District

The Blue Valley School District (USD 229) is committed to giving students an Education Beyond Expectations - an education filled with opportunities. This K-12 district encompasses 91 square miles in southeastern Johnson County, Kansas. More than 20,000 students attend Blue Valley's 34 schools, and the district is committed to providing a personalized learning experience to every one of them. The district has five high schools (grades 9-12), nine middle schools (grades 6-8) and 20 elementary schools (grades K-5).

This past January, USD 231 voters approved a $72 million bond issue to provide a new elementary school, middle school, Multipurpose Activity Center addition to the high school, updates to districtwide technology and many capital improvements.

Raymore-Peculiar School District

District Overview
The growing Raymore-Peculiar School District is located just 20 minutes south of Kansas City. The district, which covers 94 square miles, includes the communities of Raymore and Peculiar; small portions of Lee's Summit, Belton and Lake Winnebago; and some unincorporated areas of Cass County.

Today, approximately 5,900 students attend the Ray-Pec Schools.
