ICO is the future of fund-raising; it stands for Initial Coin Offering. In the ICO, new project offers newly issued crypto-coin / tokens to investors in exchange for other crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin, Ether or LTC, FIAT currencies could also be accepted for getting the ICO tokens. It is similar to IPO where a part of company shares are sold to get funding.
