sharpen your writing skills whether it be poetry, books, short stories, blogs etc with our writing...
Something a bit different for you all today. I'll pop a big tag cloud of adjectives below and using only these (use your own verbs etc.) explore and describe a character. This is quite a linear brief, but it should help those who find varying their proximity of description (how close or far you move in and away from the image) difficult.
So as I'm writing a novel for the fittingly titled "Writing a Novel" module this semester, I thought you'd like this as a writing game.
This is perhaps the laziest post I have ever written. This writing game is entirely open, but there still is a point. Nice and simple, 500 words set in the craziest setting you can imagine. Doesn't have to be chaotic, but literally, the most out of the box "what-on-earth" setting for a story you can think of.
So today's writing game is a simple one, inspired ironically by a distinct lack of enthusiasm for creativity in the face of the surging rain. As a result of the despicable (and yet, seasonally apt) weather I'm drinking copious amounts of tea to keep warm and eating the occasional chocolate covered peanut.
Pages About Oli's Blog... So this is essentially an archive of work produced whilst on and/or for my creative writing degree here in Falmouth, Cornwall. It's mainly a means of documenting the initial drafting process (as well as the structure of the course) rather than a display of finished work.

So this morning I'm out of milk, tobacco, and waiting for the shops to open.
