We the Best 7v7 In Review

Darnell Washington 6-8 240 Jr. TE Desert Pines HS (Las Vegas, NV)

OFFERS : (33) Alabama, USC, Florida, Oklahoma, Oregon, Michigan, Clemson, Texas, Tennesee

A 5* recruit and one of the top players in America for the 2020 class. Darnell excelled for WTB in Las Vegas dominating everyone, while catching 15 passes and 5 TDs, and being the talk of the tournament. As good as he is on the field he is even a better kid off of it. You will see.Washington playing on Sunday's.

Zyell Griffin 6-3 180 Jr. WR Evergreen HS (Vancouver, WA)

One of the fastest rising recruits in the NW. Griffin will be a multi offer D1 athlete, projecting at the mid major level or higher. He went off in Las Vegas a few weeks back earning a national ranking from 247 Sports. His combination of talents and ability on the basketball floor speaks to his overall athleticism.

Nick Haynes 6-2 180 Jr. ATH Reynolds HS (Troutdale, OR)

Nick has had a phenomenal off season thus far and currently sits on multiple D1 boards. He is one of the leaders for WTB offensively in TDs, while potentially projecting on D as a long 6-2 corner. He is a 2x all conference WR/DB for Reynolds and one of the most versatile kids in Oregon.

Joe Hutson 6-1 175 Jr. DB Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR)

OFFERS: San Diego

Hutson has had multiple MVP type performances this off season, grabbing his first D1 offer. in the last week. He is a NW leader in INTs on the 7v7 circuit with 10. Joe is listed among the state's best for the 2020 class, earning 1st team all TRL and honorable mention all state honors for the 6A champs. He had 27 pass deflections in 2018 leading the state of Oregon

Jalen John 5-11 205 Jr. RB Lakeridge

OFFERS: USC, Oregon, Oregon St, Nebraska, Arizona, Utah

Jalen is a gifted kid as his offers indicate. He showed up big in his first tournament for WTB (Passing Down -Portland) catching 12 passes and a team leading 4 Tds. He is currently a national 4* recruit going for 20 Tds on 8.9 yards per carry last season.

Miles Jackson 6-0 175 Jr. CB Central Catholic

Jackson's stock has jumped significantly over the last few months. He was unfazed at the national tourney in Vegas locking up everyone. He will return ranked one of Oregon's top 3 CBs earning 1st team all league and honorable mention all state honors in 2018.

Carson Cota 6-5 235 So. WR/TE South Medford HS (Medford, OR)

OFFERS: Oregon, UCLA

Cota broke out at the national tourney in Vegas catching 4 passes and 2 TDs on the first day. Most are familiar coming from one of the most successful football families in state history. UCLA Freshman WR Chase Cota will be one of the PAC 12's best in the years to come, while you can expect Carson to be a breakout performer for South Medford in 2019

Damir Collins 5-9 180 So. RB Jefferson HS

Thus far Damir has been one of the best in the West on the 7v7 circuit. He currently leads WTB in TD's and receptions, totaling an unreal 70 catches on the season. Expect Collins to be a PIL Player of the Year favorite for Jefferson next season after earning 1st team all conference honors (16 TDs 1,957 all purpose yards) in 2018.

Max Lenzy 5-10 175 Jr. CB Tigard HS (Tigard , OR)

OFFERS: Idaho

Max was a standout guard for the Tigard basketball team, one of the state's best at the 6A level. That said as his play on the 7v7 circuit has been limited so far this year. He is a 4* recruit and as most know the brother of Notre Dame WR Braden Lenzy. When on his game there are few who are better on the defensive side of the ball.

Chase Fletcher 6-2 200 Jr. Safety West Linn

Fletcher has upped his stock substantially over the last few months. He earned all conference honors at LB during the HS season, but has excelled from his Safety spot for the WTB picking off 5 balls on the year.

Trey Martin 6-2 210 So. QB Jefferson

Trey, AKA "Big Ben" has had a great year thus far.. In 2018 he was one of the state leaders statistically (232 yards per game, 18 Tds) among Sophomores, starting for Jefferson.

Miles Wilson 5-10 190 So. RB Reynolds HS (Troutdale, OR)

As good as Miles was offensively during the HS season, he has primarily played D for WTB, bringing a necessary toughness to the group. Wilson rushed for 18 TDs in 2018, also earning 2nd team all conference accolades on defense, which speaks to his overall versatility.

Darik Salinas 6-1 165 Jr. ATH Southridge

One of the most impressive and versatile kids for WTB all year. Salinas was an all conference DB during the HS season, and has killed it from his QB/WR spot on the 7v7 circuit. He can play 4-5 different positions making him a very appealing recruit collegiately.

Derrick Webb 6-0 200 Jr. LB/RB Westview

Webb has stepped up big on the defensive side of the ball picking off 3 passes during the 7v7 season. He is currently ranked one of the top 10 RB's in Oregon for the 2020 class as his versatility will be needed for the Wildcats next year.

Regan Wilson 5-11 180 Jr. WR Aloha

Remember the name. He had a breakout performance, catching 8 passes and 3 Tds, at last weekends Passing Down regional in Portland. Regan went for over 1100 yards and 12 Tds on 58 catches for Aloha last season. Look for him to be one of the top players in the Metro.

Jack Artman 6-2 170 So. QB Clackamas

Artman is a multi sport standout also excelling on the baseball field. He diced up the Texas Fury at the national tourney in Vegas helping to solidify himself as one of the better Sophomore QB's in Oregon. Clack is 26-1 over the last two seasons with a state title. That said as Jack will most likely be waiting his turn behind Austin Atkeson in 2019.

Lydell Hudson-Lewis 6-0 170 Jr. ATH Mountainside

Lydell is an impressive kid and a nice addition for the WTB. The transfer from Chaparral HS in Colorado had a good junior season making 43 total tackles. He will project as one of the top dual threat kids in the Metro League in 19'.

Dominique Miller 5-10 175 Jr. CB Reynolds HS (Troutdale, OR)

.Dominique is another kid with multiple INTs on the season. He is currently ranked one of the the top DB's in Oregon for the 2020 class, racking up 2nd team all conference honors during the Raiders 2018 campaign.

Daron Ulrich Jr. 6-0 175 Jr. Safety Union (WA)

Ulrich Jr. made a statement in his first tournament with WTB picking off 2 passes at the regional tourney. He earned 2nd team All GSHL honors this past season helping Union to the state title. Daron is a winner and will be a big asset to the group.

Timon Davis 5-9 165 So. CB Grant

Timon had a big Sophomore year earning 1st team All PIL honors. He has done a good job from his corner spot, sometimes against much bigger and older competition. He has the luxury of playing for one of the top defensive coaches in the NW in Aaron Kincy.

Andre Ayo 5-9 170 Jr. Slot Westview

Maybe the surprise player of the year so far. Dre has made the most of every opportunity scoring multiple TDs in the last few tournaments. Nothing but respect for the kid out of Westview.
