Termite repairs Brisbane We are borer and termite repair specialists. We detect and repair damaged floorboards and stain them to blend into your existing floors. The best, and quite frankly the only effective way to detect how much borer or termite damage is in your Hoop Pine floors is to carry out the first sand. Taking off this top layer reveals the damage. Borers generally leave a little timber untouched on the top side of the floorboards. Generally you can determine how bad the damage is from under the floor. If however you can see ANY pin holes on top of the floorboards before you carry out the first sand, then rest assured, those floorboards (with the pin holes on top) will be well and truly eaten out completely and very weak once sanded.
