Majestic City (MC)

Made up of 7 stories that are home to 96 shops and located at the heart of Bambalapitiya (Colombo 4), Majestic City is one Sri Lanka's oldest malls. Having a food court and kids play area in the basement, a wide variety of local and international brands and a cinema complex consisting of 4 cinema's, Majestic City or MC as known by the locals is Sri Lanka's most popular mall that attracts both foreign and local tourists. It is also a common hangout place for window shopping or hanging out. Right next door is Unity Plaza, a great place to visit to buy computers, camera's, earphones or any other IT related hardware or software.

Kandy City Centre (KCC)

The Kandy City Centre is an uber-modern mall located in the heart of the hill capital of Sri Lanka, Kandy. Consisting of 60 local brands such as Hameedia, Kelly Felder, Ranjanas and international brands like Nike, Levis, and Miniso, KCC offers a wide variety of products such as clothes, jewellery, shoes, home appliances, mobile phones, perfumes and cosmetic products. Food stalls that sell freshly squeezed juices, premium ice cream and hot coffee can be found scattered all over KCC. Some of the leading banks have branches and ATM machines set up for the convenience of their customers.

Arcade Independence Square

One of the latest additions to Sri Lanka's shopping experience, the Arcade Independence Square is housed in an old colonial building. The mall is home to high-end clothing stores, fine dining and fast food restaurants, a cinema complex and an uptown bar. Located close to Sri Lanka's iconic landmark- the Independence Square; a popular place that is frequented in the morning and evening by joggers, cyclists and photographers, the Arcade Independence Square is a beautiful mall that seamlessly blends in colonial architecture with luxury shopping.

Crescat Boulevard

Located close to some of the finest up and coming Colombo luxury apartments and hotel complexes similar to One Galle Face, Crescat Boulevard is 3 storied shopping mall that sells a wide variety of products from clothing and jewellery to stationery and local handicraft. The bookstore located on the ground floor is a great place to buy comics, fiction and autobiographies. The basement of Crescat consists of a food court with food stalls selling food from different cultures and countries, a play area for kids and a supermarket. If you're feeling adventurous and want to try out the street food that Sri Lanka has to offer or simply enjoy the sunset you should visit Galle face green which is located walking distance from Crescat Boulevard.

Galle Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct

Located inside the Galle Fort, The Galle Dutch Hospital shopping precinct as the name implies is a shopping mall built by restoring an old colonial building that was used as a hospital during the Dutch reign of the area. The mall consists of several handicrafts, jewellery and clothes shops and lots of places to eat and drink. The top floor of the shopping mall is made up of mainly of restaurants and coffee shops is a great place to enjoy a meal or a cocktail after exploring the Dutch Galle Fort- a tourist hotspot made up of several shops, museums, a church and several colonial buildings.
