Ordinary Portland Cement is the most commonly used type of Portland Cement.OPC is a mixture of calcium carbonate, silica, iron, and alumina.Limestone heated in a kiln with other components.
Once it hardens and turns into “clinker”, it is finely ground with a small amount of gypsum mixed with it to produce Ordinary Portland Cement.
Ordinary Portland cement is MP Birla’s flagship product most preferred and sold in the Indian market. It is mainly used for general construction purposes and the major types of Portland cement offered by MP Birla are OPC 33, 43, and 53. White OPC is another of its classic products used for the beautification of structures.
