This visa allows you to visit and stay in Australia for up to twelve months:
For visiting family, friends or on a visit for business purposes
Australia is a popular holiday destination, hence why there is a visitor visa 600 subclass

Requirements:
Must be able to pay the base visitor visa charges
Must meet certain character requirements
Must not be travelling to Australia for work
Must be a current eligible passport holder
Must have sufficient funds or be sponsored by a close friend or relative to support visit

Most approved Subclass 601 Visa holders will be able to entry multiple entry to a Australia for a period of 12 months from the date of the Visa granted.

• Enter Australia as much as you want for up to a year
• Stay for up to three months for each time you visit
• Visit friends, family or for business visiting purposes.
• You are not allowed to work in Australia on this Visa.

• for medical treatment or consultations

Eligibility

• You must have arranged medical consultation or have a medical treatment plan in place.
• meet financial, health and character requirements
• be coming to donate an organ to someone or
• be coming with a patient or organ donor who is applying for this visa or
• be coming to receive an organ donated from outside Australia or from a non-Australian citizen or non permanent resident.
• coming under arrangements between the Western Province of PNG and the queensland department of health or
• be in Australia, 50 years of age or older and been refused an Australian permanent visa on health grounds only.

Benefits
The benefit of the Australian Investor Retirement Subclass 405 Visa is that it allows you to stay in Australia for up to a period of four years. You may be allowed to work up to 40 hours per fortnight.

To be eligible for this visa you must:

• be 55 years or older
• have an existing investor retirement visa subclass 405 or
• former investor retirement visa subclass 405 whom has not held a visa since last entering Australia
• have no dependents other than a spouse
• Have an income of atleast $65,000 per year
• have a designated investment of $500,000 in australia
• You may qualify to have a lower designated initial investment if you wish to live in a regional area.

• You must meet specific health requirements
• You must be sponsored by a state or territory government agency.
