Khao Takiab beach

The Khao Takiab beach is the best place to spend a lazy Sunday with your family. There are many beaches in Hua Hin but this is the most relaxing one you can find. The water is shallow and the waves are not too strong so you can let your kids swim without any fear. The beach is hidden behind the Khao Takiab hill which you can see from the city of Hua Hin. The beach is only 7 kilometres away from the city centre.

Baan Sillapin Artists Village

This is a unique place in Hua Hin. The village was opened in the year 1998. It is home for Tawee Kesa-Ngam, the famed artists in the area, and many more artists. There are many art galleries and studios in the village that you can visit. You can even sign up for a pottery class or painting class while you're there. There are many quaint cafes in the village where you can sit back and enjoy the vibe of the village.

Khao Hin Lek Fai

If you are an adventure seeker, Khao Hin Lek Fai is the place for you. This is a relatively steep hill and it has a great vantage point of the city. There are many locals as well as tourists climbing the hill. Khoa Hin Lek Fai has four lookouts. Each lookout gives a different view of the city. You can hire bicycles to ride to the top of the hill. The sunset and sunrise are the best times to climb Khao Hin Lek Fai.

Wat Khao Takiab

This is the temple at the top of Khao Takiab hill. Wat Khao Takiab is one of the most important temples in Hua Hin. You can see the temple from the beach as well. If you want to visit the temple, you have to climb more than 850 feet up the hill. If you're travelling using a vehicle you can save half the climb. There are some Buddha and dinosaur statues at the car park too. Tip- watch out for the monkeys!

Hua Hin Night Bazaar

If you find yourself bored in your hotel in Hua Hin, get dressed and visit the Hua Hin Night Bazaar. The market starts at 6 pm and it goes on until dawn. When you visit here, you can get a glimpse of the lifestyle of the locals. There are many stalls here that sell handicrafts, fresh food, souvenirs, and street food. Street food stalls in the night bazaar are open until the sun is up. Enjoy the night with good music and good food.

Hua Hin Beach

The Hua Hin beach is the most popular beach in the area. The coast is packed with hotels and resorts the likes of Anantara Hua Hin Resort, so you can wake up to the deep rumble of the ocean every morning. You can engage in many aquatic sports such as surfing, waterskiing and jetskiing. There is a myriad of restaurants and bars along the beach where you can watch the sunset while sipping a Longisland.

Hua Hin is the last place you think of when you talk about vineyards. Yet, this beautiful city has it all. The Hua Hin Hilla Vineyard is in a picture-perfect location. There are many kinds of grapes growing here. You can take a tour across the vineyard and have lunch amidst the amazing scenery.
