Rationale: This blog offers a variety of resources all in one, including musical examples of Rubato in the style of Chopin directly contrasted with modern Rubato. This resource has material that would appeal to almost every student.

Rationale: This resource would be beneficial for students to demonstrate their learning through creating a poster or flyer highlighting information about a Romantic composer or contrasting Romantic composers.

Rationale: This resource contains a wealth of knowledge from a reputable source (NPR) about Romantic composer, Felix Mendelssohn. Rationale: Students will be tasked with creating a video or slideshow about a specific composer to demonstrate their knowledge, to collaborate and share with others, and to manipulate materials to increase understanding.

Rationale: This video would be an excellent resource for students to help identify characteristics of Chopin's musical style as they can both see and hear the music. This helps with both auditory and visual learners.
Description: This is a work of art inspired by and depicting the events of the Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg.
Rationale: To incorporate music and its effect on the other arts I included this artwork based on Grieg's work to have students see a visual representation of the music to aid in understanding. This would be viewed in conjunction with listening to Grieg's work.
Description: This is a music notation software that is free, online, and easily accessible.
Rationale: Students would use this software to help create short musical examples in the style of Romantic composers to help aid in understanding of Romantic traits and writing.
