This resource is helpful because it explains the "fruit" part of the MyPlate.

Any vegetable or 100% vegetable juice counts as a member of the Vegetable Group. Vegetables may be raw or cooked; fresh, frozen, canned, or dried/dehydrated; and may be whole, cut-up, or mashed.

This resource is important because it is the website for MyPlate and has a full explanation of what MyPlate actually is.
This serves as a great introduction to the topic.
