ClassDojo

ClassDojo is an interactive platform that allows students and their parents to monitor what is going on in the classroom. Not only this but, parents can monitor their child's behavior and see their attendance. Many parents would prefer to use something such as ClassDojo for class socialization, as they believe it is safer since it is only used for school use, rather than facebook or twitter. Rather than printing newsletters for parents, they can have a more updated access to events occurring in the classroom. Furthermore, pictures can be uploaded on ClassDojo to start communication digitally throughout the classroom. Along with this idea, the teacher may also post pictures of the board or notes for further reference for children to review and look over while at home.

AR Flashcards

AR Flashcards

AR Flashcards is an educational tool to help children learn their alphabet, addition, colors, shapes, etc. It allows children to learn in a fun way, as pictures presented are three dimensional. For example, if a child is learning their alphabet, you can print the animal flashcards that have the letter and type of animal to which that letter corresponds to. When the app is dowloaded on an electronic device, the device can be held over the flashcards and an 3 dimensional animal will appear. This is good for visual learners. Not only this but when the child sees the actual picture, they will be able to take the picture and correspond what the animal is and what letter is starts with.
