Class Dojo

Class Dojo is a communicational app for the classroom. It helps teachers connect with parents in class and outside of class. The teacher can post pictures of activities and students for the parents to look at. With this app, the teacher can take attendance, award good behavior points and take away points when bad behavior rises. This is a technology tool I will be considering in my future classroom.

Critical Thinking- thinking by choosing the correct answer for the quiz
Communication/collaboration- you can have certain students take the quiz with each other or collaborate them up
Creativity- get creative with questions or take quizzes from other teachers

Flipgrid is a communication tool that you can communicate with anyone and everyone around the world. You can set up dates when these videos are due and communicate with other classes or cultures around the world. Flipgrid can be used within the classroom or even in a business aspect. A 4'C that can be included within this tech tool is collaboration. We are collaborating with all people and it can be somewhat face-to-face.

This tool is very helpful for any grade because certain questions or vocab words are already created.

website that lets students create and publish their own illustrated stories. Whether students are beginning writers or brushing up on their skills. The students can create and present homemade books or can even be used for digital story telling.
Teachers- this is a great way to have kids get excited about writing and using their imagination. You can have them purchase books or offer one free one for the student and his/her family.
Students- the students get to be creative and create a book and has different ways to purchase or get a hard copy of their masterpiece.

You can draw whatever you would like and you can change the image to make it have more detail. If you draw a circle or oval, you can have suggested images of sports balls and/or a lemon. This app is safe because if you draw something naughty, it automatically changes and deletes your image.

Quiver app is a very innovative application supporting both learning and fun in a less usual yet highly interesting way. The navigational design of the app is quite straightforward and simple. You use a phone or tablet and bring your drawings to life. Most kids enjoy seeing their masterpieces come to life and be interactive. This app is for all ages yet younger students would enjoy this the most.
