Top 10 Most Popular Kitchen Styles

I've been watching kitchen trends and now compiled a list of most popular design styles. There is so much to choose from. Which of the kitchen styles would suit your personality most?

Modern Kitchen

Frameless cabinets, sleek and simple hardware, strong horizontal lines, lack of ornamentation and glossy surfaces.

Farmhouse Kitchen

Warm and homey farmhouses anchored a life on the land, and they still offer great functionality and comfort.

Rustic Kitchen

Worn, distressed, lots of rustic colours and bulky items both in furniture and décor.

Contemporary Kitchen

Very sleek and unlike modern kitchen, is often more playful in form and finishes, including elements of other styles or bold topics, such as Star Wars or Fast and Furious.

Shaker Kitchens

The simplistic style was named after a Christian religious group called Shaking Quakers or Shakers for short. The group was founded in the late 1770s in Manchester, England by Jane Wardley.

Arts and Crafts Kitchens

Arts and Crafts style came about in the early 20th century in the UK as a reaction to the mass-produced fussiness of the Victorian era. It stands out with rich woods, built-ins, copper décor, handcrafted tiles and well-made simplicity.

Cottage Kitchens

Cheery and bright, cottage kitchens often feature simple white cabinetry, a farmhouse sink, and plenty of charm. Cozy, happy and unpretentious, a cottage kitchen harks back to simpler times and evokes a sense of easy, carefree living.

Mediterranean Kitchens

We can't all live in Spain, but we can drool over these four Mediterranean kitchen designs. Hand-painted tiles, warm wood cabinets, beamed ceilings and arched cooking alcoves are just some of the features that help pull off the Spanish style.

Eclectic Kitchens

Eclectic style decor is a spectrum of mismatched colors, patterns, textures and materials, in general the eclectic style can be describe as taking everything that you like from each decor style and apply it in the interior. You can mix and match for your own distinct kitchen style however you please.

Industrial Kitchens

This industrial style shaker kitchen features exposed beams and contemporary brickwork as well as the latest cutting-edge appliances. Don't forget about steel and rough surfaces.
