The Lusofonia Festival

This festival gives you a chance to experience the Portuguese community of Macau. One of the areas most looked forward to festivals; this one encourages other Portuguese speaking nations to conduct business, cultural and heritage ties with Macau. Bringing together varied culture and traditions the fiesta comprises of song, dance and food as well as, games and activities for children. Macau Retreat

While one may think of glamorous casinos and thrilling entertainment when it comes to Macau, you may be surprised to learn it also offers fun trail running too! Organised by GreenRace, this two day October event in Macau features a challenging course along outdoor trails and tracks set amidst captivating backdrops. But it's not just hiking and running, with plenty of socialising and dining on offer too.


Macau Lantern Festival

The Chinese and Portuguese cultures were well amalgamated in this popular festival hosted by Anim'Arte Nam Van in 2017. Promoting the magical and enchanting aura of moonlight, the festival comprises of the famous rabbit lanterns at the promenade and offers a healthy dose of festive cheer for all to enjoy. Design concepts for the festival, last year, were based on three themes; Culture of Macau, Architecture in Macau and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Artists from Macau, mainland China, Portugal and Hong Kong were involved in the design and conception of themes for the festival, which promises to be bigger and brighter the next time around.


Oktoberfest Macau

Macau's most famous beer fest is tipped to be better than ever this October. An 11 day authentic Bavarian fest which holds true to its original counterparts in Germany, Oktoberfest is a celebration of Bavarian beer and cuisine. One to be enjoyed by the entire family, Macau has been very successful in creating the perfect Oktoberfest atmosphere.
