The workshop aims at enriching the knowledge of students and enhancing their life skills.The students are involved in group activities which inculcate in them spirit of teamwork and leadership along with critical thinking and logical reasoning skill.
Kepler's Observatory is organizing “Virtual Reality Astronomy Workshop” solely to promote the mesmerizing and unique technology among students.Virtual Reality became one of the top trends in education because of its growing popularity, an abundance of resources and content, and significantly reduced costs to create.This workshop will introduce students to Google Cardboard and educational Virtual Reality apps. The first half will help you learn about Astronomy, Time Travelling, Existence of Aliens, Q&A Rounds on different aspect of astronomy and discussions on Black Holes, Worm Holes,etc whereas second part of the workshop take the students on amazing journeys of 3D Virtual reality which allows students to experience what it is like to live and work as an astronaut on the International Space Station, or on Mars/Moon Surface all through the use of VR headsets.
Keplers Astronomy Club encourages and promotes the study of astronomy, solar-system, Space Science, Cosmology, geophysics and closely related to different branches of science. It introduces students to the planets and stars of the cosmos by giving them an up-close encounter while using India's largest telescope in Observatory.
