Beacon Fell Country Park

Beacon Fell Country Park

Beacon Fell Country Park features 75 hectares of woodland, grassland and moorland.

There are a number of different trails aroud the park so pick the one you want to do, there is a Summit which rises to a height of 266 metres above sea level the summit gives fantastic panoramic views of the Bowland Fell and Parlick Fell.

The visitors centre and cafe are open daily.

Parlick Fell

Parlick Fell

A lovely hike to the summit is well worth it for the far reaching views over the surrounding areas. Sometimes the gliders fly over and also you can see them taking off. A must do if you like walking.

3

Edisford Bridge, Clitheroe.

Edisford Bridge, Clitheroe.

A lovely place to visit when the sun is shining and to have a picnic. Sit by the river and enjoy the surroundings. There are picnic tables plus sometimes a ice cream van. There is also a mini railway which operates part of the year. There is also a pub nearby to have a drink.

4

The Inn at Whitewell

The Inn at Whitewell

A lovely old rural inn which is dog friendly and also has open fires. This is a beautiful inn and well worth visiting. There are a number of walks that you can do just ask at reception for a walk guide.
Then you can come back and have a drink and some good homemade food.

Bashall Barn, Bashall Eaves

Bashall Barn, Bashall Eaves

Bashall Barn is a Ribble Valley destination offering a retail outlet, coffee shop, ice cream parlour and national award winning restaurant.

Farm Shop
Opened in 2001 and altered and changed constantly since, the core of the farm shop is the food that they make in their own kitchens for you to take home and enjoy.

Coffee Shop
They only use the finest locally roasted coffee and their in house bakery team who work tirelessly to produce a wide and ever changing range of home made cakes, scones and toasted tea cakes.

Sit in style, see the farm animals directly through the coffee shop windows, or sit and wonder at the views of Pendle Hill.

ce Cream
Sit in comfort and enjoy the best ice cream in Lancashire; from a simple cone to a beautifully prepared sundae - it's all made in the parlour.
