Here is a list of my motivators and stress relievers to reference back to when I need to re-focus my thoughts and energy.
I don't fear the future because I know the Lord has prepared me for what's to come, no matter what it may be. He is my strength.
I don't know why I feel like I connect so well to elephants. They're my spirit animal and looking at pictures of them just makes me so happy.
I can easily let go of all my troubles and stressors in the midst of God's beautiful creation. I love the stillness and the peacefulness that comes with being in nature. There's a free feeling that comes with it that I can't achieve inside closed doors.
I love being on the lacrosse field where I don't have to worry about anything else other than what's happening on the inside of those brick walls. It's an opportunity for me to refocus and be myself.
It's hard sometimes being so far away from home because I cherish my family more than anything else. My parents are a huge support system, and I love being around my brother and sisters. There is minimal stress when I'm home so I like thinking about the good times when I'm struggling.
My grandmother is like my best friend. I can call her no matter what kind of mood I'm in, and every time she manages to make me laugh. She has so much wisdom and humor too. After getting off the phone with her, I feel my stress ease its way out.
Pictured here is my favorite football player, Torrey Smith, in my favorite team's uniform. Watching football is one of my favorite things to do because I get so involved in the game that nothing else matters. Eating food, cheering on your favorite team, and being with friends is he best part.
I actually find stress relief in studying. I am a worrier, but when I'm being productive I don't feel as stressed. I constantly need to be doing something active which does wear me out sometimes, but I genuinely enjoy the process of learning.
This picture makes me reminisce of the good times I've had with my best friends. These girls are my support system and have been for the past 15+ years. Although we aren't together in person most of the time, we are in constant communication and they're always so understanding when I'm going through a rough time.
Just looking at this picture makes me want to get into the kitchen and get my hands dirty. I LOVE food, and the experience of making the food is even better. Baking (an cooking) is a stress reliever for me.
