Rabbit Haven - Supply List

There are several brands of rabbit pellets. Ask us for our suggestion for your bunny when you adopt. You should not make sudden changes to a bunny's diet; instead, if you want to change foods, you should introduce the new food gradually. Follow the instructions for how much to feed your bunny. Typically, this is approximately 1/8 cup of pellets per 5 LBs of rabbit. Learn more about Feeding & Diet.

House Rabbit Society

The House Rabbit Society believes that ALL rabbits are valuable as individuals, regardless of breed purity, temperament, state of health, or relationship to humans. The welfare of all rabbits is our primary consideration.

Rabbit Advocates

Rabbit Advocates believes that spaying or neutering your pet house rabbit is the single most important thing you can do to improve their health and extend their life. To promote this cause, we have developed a Spay and Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP) to provide reimbursement of up to $100 per rabbit spay, and up to $75 per rabbit neuter. Reimbursement will only be made upon receipt of a paid invoice from the veterinarian and will be made based on fund availability. Effective June 1, these SNIP funds will only be available to Oregon residents of Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Columbia counties, and Washington residents of Clark County. Please contact SNIP@rabbitadvocates.org or call the RA Help Line at (503) 617-1625 for more details.
