The hospitality industry today has evolved into a multi-billion-dollar industry and an industry with high competition. Here are some trends that are sweeping the hospitality industry.



Co-living is a modern method of housing, where inhabitants who share the same values, intentions and interest will occupy the same living space. It's a new approach that millennials have fashioned using the concept of an old idea which is now making its way into hospitality trade as more and more millennials globe trot as groups.



Whether it is the attention to detail or the customer experience they receive from the staff or the attractions around the hotel, hotels have to take a holistic approach to ensure that their guests get the same experience inside their accommodations as well as outside when they are within the hotel premises.

Loyalty programmes are an important strategy that is extensively used in the industry won't change any time soon. They ensure that they get recurring customers and the customers who visit, spread the word to their friends and family. The definition of the word luxury has changed drastically due to consumer behaviour. Tourists these days are looking for an authentic and personalized experience when staying at a hotel rather than the traditional experience of luxury that includes extravagant massages and being treated like royalty. Not that the industry has totally changed towards a minimalistic approach; people still expect all the amnesties but they also expect to feel the personalized experience catered to their needs, the little things can go a long way!
