ACSF - Australian Core Skills Framework | Department of Education and Training

The ACSF describes five levels of performance in key skill areas that are essential for people to participate in our society: Learning, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication, and Numeracy. The framework provides a consistent national approach to the identification of the core skills requirements and a common reference point for describing and discussing individual performance, strengths, and areas for further support and learning.

Australian Blueprint for Career Development

The Australian Blueprint for Career Development is a framework for designing, implementing and evaluating career development programs for young people and adults. At its core, the Blueprint identifies the skills, attitudes and knowledge that individuals need to make sound choices and to effectively manage their careers.

Australian Centre for Career Education

The Career Education Association of Victoria (CEAV) is presenting an exciting program of career education activities to students in Years 9 and 10 in Victorian government schools in rural and regional areas and metropolitan areas. This program is funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training and aims to raise student awareness of the education, training and employment pathways provided through VET.

CEDA is an independent national organisation providing thought leadership and policy perspectives on the economic and social issues affecting Australia.

Excellent resource for employment projects across all regions in Australia. This portal brings together data from a range of official sources to help you understand your local labour market.
The Department of Employment projects employment growth over the next five years by region, industry, and occupation.
