Most of Langkawi's attractions are located on the main island, while a few are found around the smaller islands, making it quite an interesting tour for visitors. Walk a Sky Bridge and Ride a Cable Car

The cable car at Langkawi boasts the steepest gradient across the globe, where you ride a distance of 2.1kms to the top of Mount Mat Cincang. During your ride be mesmerized by bird's eye views of the Andaman Sea, dotted with smaller islands. Choose from two cable car options, both offering viewing platforms as well as walking trails. The sky bridge too is pretty awesome, and one of the newer attractions. The curved bridge suspended high in the clouds runs from the cable car station to the summit of a mountain. The adventurous are encouraged to take the long flight of stairs to the bridge, enjoying the fabulous views, which may stretch all the way to your Langkawi resort.

Kilim Geo Park and Mangroves

Located to the northeast of Langkawi, the Kilim River is the setting, for Kilim Geo Park, a beautiful geological reserve, of 100sqkms. Take along the cameras for this fabulous sanctuary boasts, impressive limestone formations, fossils that are millions of years old, wild beaches and lagoons, verdant mangrove swamps and sights of distant islands. That's right folks; the place is as fabulous as it sounds. Besides, the tour to the park will include stops at fish farms, where visitors can feed stingrays, monkeys and eagles. Kilim Geo Park is around 32 minutes from the Berjaya Langkawi Resort and is well worth the visit if holidaying in Langkawi.

Pulau Dayang Bunting and Lake of the Pregnant Maiden

Head over to Bunting Island and you will come across a beautiful freshwater lake which is also steeped in legend. Boasting a background of lush forests and mountains, this lake is perfect for a swim on a warm day; the forest is quite a treat for birders to explore. Bunting Island located to the south of Langkawi can be reached via boat tours which are on offer at Pantai Tengah.

Explore Pantai Cenang Underwater World

The 60,000sqft complex is home to over 4,000 marine creatures and fish, as well as, sectors for birds and other types of animals. Underwater World is sectioned off into themes; Sub Antarctic, Tropical Rainforest, Temperate, Corals, Ponds and more. A popular feature is the 15 metre long tunnel, which displays, marine life forms and fish in large glass tanks set along the walls; once done check out the souvenir shop, and stop for a bite to eat at the sunny café.

Eagle Square – Dataran Lang

This is an iconic attraction in Langkawi which you must visit. The eagle is a 12 metre high statue which looks across the bay; the bird is a symbol of Langkawi's name. The place is a fabulous look point, as you are treated to the sights of the sea, framed by mountains, on which ferries are seen gliding along smoothly.
