Whether you "get" Twitter or not, there is something brilliant about the people who can consistently post spit-out-your-coffee-in-a-public-place content in 140 characters or less. Here are some of my favorites.
The only thing better than this dudes often inappropriate, always hilarious Twitter stream is his live show. Oh, and the fact that he is, indeed, a closet feminist.
We know Ricky Gervais is funny. On Twitter, he is funny as well as clever and blunt. Always fun to see who he is @replying.

She was funny on SNL, and she's funny on the Web.
Mr. Oswalt always has something funny to say about the pop culture hot button issue of the moment.
She's not as vocal on this outlet as other comedians, but still rocks it out when she does Tweet...often with photos.
"For dinner I had ice cream and a muscle relaxer. If this is what it's like to be in a nursing home, I'm looking forward to it."
