Absolutely beautiful day, on day 2 of the 2022 Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival!, saw 2 brown bears, lots of puffins, seals, and many other birds calm seas, and bright sun.
Another Gorgeous day Cook Inlet’s remote west side, more birds showed up, saw several oyster catchers, harlequin’s, Jeagars, puffin’s and many more, did see 2 bears but Not they close. Scenery second time none, unfortunately we are canceling Tommorow”the last day of the 2022 Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival! due to a gale Warning.
The bears must’ve missed me over their long winter”s hibernation, this one walked over to say hello, good to see you again, and give our guests a photo op they will never forget, contact me to get on one of our amazing bear tours.
Our family from Michigan, enjoyed the beautiful day in Lake Clark National park, soupy fog for40 mikes but burned off for an awesome view.
Been a great week to photograph bears with all the beautiful weather, in a stunning location, back to fishing the next couple of days then back to guiding photographers to see the bears next week.
