Curb appeal holds the buyer's interest which will lead him through the front door, so make your home’s curb appeal as enticing as possible.

Don’t just clean the front lawn and garden. Mow the lawn.

Add mulch and reseed for a greener grass.

Add a pop of color by planting flowers.

Trim the dead branches off the trees, if you have trees in your front lawn.

Power wash the siding and walkways.

Wash the windows.

In short, go over every detail of your curb appeal and work on it.

Here’s a great tip: Take a good look at your home from the street, and try to look at it from a buyer’s perspective. Do this and you will notice things about your home’s curb appeal that you have never noticed before.

For many first time home sellers, it can be hard to let go of things because they have an emotional attachment to it.

I get it. If this is you, start organizing now, before you actually list your home.

Put things into storage, and throw or give away things that have little or no meaning to you.

Removing half of your things before the actual selling process will make it easier for you to clear out and make the home look more organized.

Decluttering will also make the rooms more spacious and bright, lending a welcoming appeal.

As much as you love your wall hangings and decor, you want very little on the wall, because you want the potential buyer to visualize the room as his or her own.
