Club Hotel Dolphin offers guided tours and safaris along the canal that runs through Waikkal and taking this route is a great treat for bird watchers. Painted pink on the exterior, St. Mary’s church is a Roman Catholic place of worship in Negombo and is famously known for its spectacular artistry inside. It is said to be one of the largest churches in Sri Lanka and is set in a safe and beautiful stretch alongside the beach and adds the perfect setting to an evening walk. It serves the Catholic population alongside several other churches in Negombo. Though not heavily decorated this place of worship is great for reflection.
