Most Popular Night Life Spots in Mui Ne – Discover a New Side to a Fishing Village

A coastal fishing town that boasts of sand dunes in the most unexpected manner, Mui Ne in the south-east of Vietnam has come a long way from modest to adventurous.

1

Dragon Beach Bar

For a mix of local and foreign visitors mingling and dancing to Western vibes and a crowd of people gathered around a bar sipping away at drinks, the Dragon Beach Bar is where you should head. Both these sections of the bar overlook the Mui Ne Beach and an open-air pool. Dragon Beach Bar is open daily till well past midnight, making it the ultimate party place. It is surprising how the locals have the energy to party till the next day and still get to work the following day, but these folks seem resilient and hell-bent on the fun.

2

The Main Back Road Strip

If grooving to the hottest vibes is not really your thing, head over to the 'Strip'; fear not, as it refers to merely a strip of road and nothing scandalous. The Main Back Road Strip or Strip can be accessed from the rear entrance of many a Mui Ne resort. The climatic conditions in Mui Ne can be a bit difficult to endure, especially if you come from a cold country. Hence, this line of restaurants on the Strip doesn't open until sunset.

Other Options

The humidity and the heat both reduce and since most of these restaurants are not air conditioned, you need to continue to be in your beachwear to be comfortable. Along the shoreline of Bien Dong Sea, until you pass Anantara Mui Ne Resort on your left and the local golf course on your right, there are several eateries, plush restaurants and bars that you will find. Walk into one of these for delectable cuisine and a quiet evening out by the waves.

4

PoGo

Calling every movie buff! PoGo offers nightlife with a difference. The staff at PoGo arrange movie nights where throngs of people can sit before a giant screen, grab a bite and a few drinks while they enjoy their favourite movies. On other days, PoGo arranges for popular DJs to play at the venue and they usually mix the music to match the mood, the weather and the crowd that is present. Almost always there are people around the shisha pipes, on the dancefloor, around the bar, at the many little tables, on beanbags and the daybeds that have been set out within the premises. They suffer from no scarcity of people for the simple reason that they offer a multitude of options when it comes to entertainment, relaxation and experience. As is the case with most other local bars and pubs, the food at PoGo is highly recommendable.

5

Joe's Cafe

The speakers are turned on by about seven pm and then the party continues. However, Joe's Café also enjoys a steady flow of people during the day thanks to the unique mango tree in its garden and someone's smart idea to use it as a focal point in the setup. Those who are less inclined to dance congregate around the pool table once they sort out their drinks. Most play for fun but you find those who are quite competitive every day.
