Tadasana, or the Mountain pose – is the simplest yoga pose. All you have to do is stand with your feet touching each other and join your hands and bring them closer to your chest. You could also choose to point your hands upward, with elbows straight. Do this, stand erect and close your eyes. This asana will help you bring together all the scattered energy in your body, and you'll end up feeling calm and relaxed.

Bitilasana is another comfortable pose for starters. Get on all fours, keep your hands apart at shoulder-width and your knees apart at hip-width. Look straight down at the floor and focus on your breathing and pushing your butt back.

Vrikshasana is a pose that helps you stretch your body and increase its stability and balance. Stand erect and slowly lift your right leg and place it on the inner left thigh. Lift your hands and join them above the ceiling. Try to keep your body vertically aligned along with rhythmic breathing.

This is similar to lunges. The only difference is that the outstretched foot should be pointing towards the side rather than being supported by the toes. Hold your joined hands upwards and stretch backwards.
